- Commodity name: GH2132
GH2132 alloy is an iron-chromium-nickel based superalloy, strengthened by the addition of molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, vanadium and trace amounts of boron. It has a high degree of alloying, resulting in extremely poor thermal conductivity, leading to high cutting temperatures, high cutting forces, and severe work hardening. In particular, the presence of numerous hard alloy carbides leads to severe tool wear and high machining costs. Currently, cemented carbide tools are mainly used for machining, while centerless grinding is employed for parts with high requirements for dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. Most bolts and screws made from this alloy are currently hot-forged, with a small number cold-forged. Below 650°C, it exhibits high yield strength, excellent creep and fatigue strength, good formability, and satisfactory weldability. Example applications: High-temperature load-bearing components in aero-engines operating at temperatures below 650°C for extended periods, such as turbine disks.

Product Description and Application
GH2132 alloy is an iron-chromium-nickel-based superalloy, strengthened by the addition of molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, vanadium, and trace amounts of boron. It has a high degree of alloying, extremely poor thermal conductivity, resulting in high cutting temperatures, high cutting forces, and severe work hardening. In particular, the alloy has many hard spots, resulting in severe tool wear and high machining costs. Currently, cemented carbide tools are mainly used for machining, and for those with higher requirements for dimensional accuracy and roughness, centerless grinding is used. Most bolts and screws of this alloy are currently hot-formed, with a small number cold-formed. Below 650°C, it exhibits high yield strength and excellent creep and fatigue strength, as well as good machinability and satisfactory weldability. Examples of uses: High-temperature load-bearing components of aero-engines operating at temperatures below 650°C for extended periods, such as turbine disks.
