    GH3044 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy, specially designed for extreme high-temperature environments. It exhibits excellent comprehensive performance below 900℃. Its main characteristics and applications are as follows:

     

    Core Characteristics

    Excellent High-Temperature Performance

    Oxidation Resistance Containing 23.5%–26.5% chromium, a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film is formed at high temperatures, enabling long-term resistance to oxidation environments at 816℃, and intermittent use temperatures up to 982℃
    Mechanical Properties With room temperature tensile strength ≥685 MPa, yield strength ≥270 MPa; it still maintains moderate hot strength at 900℃, and exhibits outstanding creep resistance
    Plastic Workability Elongation ≥40%, cold stamping deep drawing coefficient K limit = 2.06, suitable for complex part forming

    Process Characteristics

    Cold-rolled plate process: Precision cold rolling tolerance control ±0.02mm, intermediate annealing is required to restore plasticity.

    Welding Performance

    Supports TIG welding, spot welding, and seam welding. GH2132 welding wire is recommended, and interlayer temperature must be strictly controlled to prevent cracking.

    Precautions

    ● Narrow hot working window: Forging final forging temperature ≥900℃, avoid abnormal grain growth.

    ● Welding sensitivity: Strict preheating and post-weld stress relief treatment are required to prevent embrittlement of the heat affected zone.

    ● Performance comparison: Compared with similar nickel-based alloys (such as GH3039), GH3044, due to its high tungsten content (13–16%), has improved creep resistance by about 30% above 800℃.
