    GH901 (domestic grade GH2901, international grade Incoloy 901/Nimonic 901) is an iron-nickel-based precipitation-hardening superalloy, specifically designed for high-temperature environments below 650℃.

    Product Description

    GH901 (domestic grade GH2901, international grade Incoloy 901/Nimonic 901) is an iron-nickel-based precipitation-hardening superalloy, specially designed for high-temperature environments below 650℃. Its main characteristics and applications are as follows:

    Outstanding High-Temperature Performance

    Below 650℃, it exhibits high yield strength (≥700MPa) and creep strength, and good oxidation resistance below 760℃.

    The strengthening phase is the γ' phase (Ni₃(Ti, Al)), with trace amounts of aluminum inhibiting the transformation of the γ' phase to the η-Ni₃Ti phase.

    Physical and Mechanical Properties

    Density is approximately 8.15g/cm³, with a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to that of ferritic steel, avoiding thermal stress failure.

    Room temperature tensile strength 1000-1250MPa, strength retention rate above 80% at 650℃.

    Processing Properties

    Supports vacuum induction + arc remelting (VIM+VAR) or electroslag remelting (ESR) processes;

    Hot deformation temperature 1140-1160℃ (final forging ≥950℃), cold working requires solution treatment;

    Can be argon arc welded, requires matching GH901 welding wire.

    Application Areas

    Aerospace, aero-engine turbine disks, compressor disks, journals and fasteners;

    Combustion chamber components, high-temperature aerospace connectors.

    Energy and Industry, gas turbine disks, nuclear power pipes;

    Chemical reactor corrosion-resistant components, high-temperature bolts.

    Technical Specifications

    Domestic: GB/T 14992, GJB 3165A;

    International: AMS 5842 (US standard), DIN 2.4952 (German standard);

    Process Sensitivity Note: Forging requires strict control of temperature and deformation (forging ratio ≥15%), avoiding uneven grain size leading to performance fluctuations.

The company currently owns production equipment such as vacuum melting, electroslag remelting, forging and hot rolling (outsourced), solution treatment, machining, cold drawing, cold rolling (outsourced), and polishing. Our own laboratory can complete the testing of alloy chemical composition, mechanical properties, and flaw detection.

We can independently produce high-performance alloy materials such as nickel-based superalloys, cobalt-based superalloys, precision alloys, and special stainless steels. Products: forgings, billets, coils, bars, slabs/sheets, etc.

High-temperature alloy cobalt-based GH605/Co-50, etc. Iron-based GH1035/GH696, etc. Nickel-based GH901/GH3030/GH3044/GH4033/GH80A/GH90, etc. Corrosion-resistant alloys Inconel600/625/718/X-750/C276, etc. Expansion/precision alloys 4J29/32/33/36, etc.
